Vanadinite is an uncommon mineral that typically forms in small red hexagonal crystals. Vanadinite actually belongs to the Apatite group of phosphates which is one of the main industrial ores of the metal vanadium, and contains a very small amount of lead.

This relatively flat Vanadinite specimen has a great amount of the hexagonal crystal structure that Vanadinite is known for! The color of the crystal are a subdued brown to rust orange, and the matrix is a neutral tan stone. This piece would be great propped up with a stand for display, or for a piece to keep in your meditation area.
