Hey rock and gem fans! Have you participated in one of our fabulous live sales recently? Have questions? Well, here are a few answers to our most frequently asked questions!
When will I get my Invoice?
You can expect to see your invoice within 36 hours of the Live Auction. Some conditions apply such as holidays.
What is a Z-LOT?
A Z-Lot is Silver Cove's unique way of identifying a lot with multiples available for purchase. The host will let you know how many of them are available and will verbally confirm your bid on air.
How do I know the host can see my bid?
Sometimes you can wonder if the host is seeing your bids, or if you are being filtered. The easiest way to do this is to send our 'secret code word' to the host for acknowledgment. Simply put the numbers 00 after the bidding word and the host will acknowledge you by name.
How do I pay?
An invoice will be sent to you via private message, which links you to our online store. (Note: If you have not already setup an account, you will be prompted to do so).

What currency do you sell in?
All products on our live sales are priced in Canadian Dollars. Your payment method will auto-calculate to your preferred currency upon payment, but all items are displayed in Canadian. The average conversion from CAD to USD is $1 CAD = $0.75 USD
How much is shipping to the USA?
Shipping depends on the weight of the package and your location but overall we have found the rates to be quite affordable.
Here are a few examples from Jan 2021::
1.1kg box - $23 CAD ($16.50USD)
0.5kg box - $16 CAD ($11.50USD)

Is my Live Auction order final?
Just like an in-person auction, your bid is your commitment to purchase. All purchases made through our auction format are final sale. (For items damaged in transport please contact our office)
Why 14 days to pay?
Most auctions require payment within 24 hours, but here at Silver Cove we like to be super awesome! We love our customers, and we want you to have some flexibility with your pay schedules, so we have given a generous 14 days (From the date of the Lives) or $500.00 credit terms limit.
What happens if I am overdue?
Once you have overdue invoices you will no longer be able to bid until all your invoices are paid in full, this includes ALL auctions currently attached to your customer number, including un-invoiced auctions and those still within the 14 day window.
You will receive a notice at the 14-day period (From the date of the Live) as a friendly reminder that you now have overdue items, however customers are expected to monitor their own buying patterns and invoices. After day 19 orders are considered forfeit.

My order arrived damaged, what now?
If your beautiful items arrived damaged, please reach out to one of our staff members immediately through messenger or email and we will be happy to help you. Although we do not have damaged products often, it does sometimes occur. Thank you for your understanding.
What if I Need A Payment Arrangement?
Wanting to buy a larger item? We can help! Our office can set you up with a payment schedule to suit your budget, and ship the item once paid in full.
For Example: You see a beautiful Amethyst Cathedral with a price of $1500. You contact us right away and we setup three payments. 1st payment would be on May 30th of $500, 2nd payment June 15th of $500 , 3rd payment June 30th $500 + shipping and applicable taxes.
