 Opalite is the trade name for a synthetic opalized glass created in China. Other names for Opalite include Argenon, Sea Opal, and Opal Moonstone. The color of the backdrop that Opalite is placed on affects the color that can be seen. A dark background creates a bright blue color, where a lighter background shows off a milky white color with a pink or orange glow.
