Labradorite is a member of the feldspar family and is a cousin to Moonstone, Sunstone and Blue Feldspar. Labradorite can exhibit an iridescent effect, also called chatoyancy, that reflects blue, purple, yellow and pink across the surface of parts of the stone.
These spheres range in size from an 7 cm with a 9 inch radius to a 10 cm with an 11 inch radius for the larger size. Each one of these spheres shows a unique and brilliant flash that ranges in color from pink to orange and blue to green. These would be ideal displayed in an office as a sophisticated accent!
Labradorite is associated with mystical protection and masculine energy. It is thought to rid a person of the fears and insecurities associated with prior disappointments, and gives a person strength and perseverance to embrace and proceed with change. If Moonstone is the guiding energy for the feminine presence, Labradorite embraces the masculine opposite, allowing the two to work well as a team.
