Bumblebee Jasper is the trade name for a radially grown fibrous calcite found in Indonesia that has distinctive yellow, orange, and black banding. The yellow and orange coloring comes from finely dispersed realgar (an arsenic sulfide mineral), and the black is caused by pyrite.
This pendant holds an lovely piece of Bumblebee Jasper. The top holds a black portion with grey outlining and the bottom left has a pretty grey section. The middle has that stunning bright orange coloring with some yellows and a bit of grey as well. This is definitely an eye catching piece!
