Silver Cove’s Live Auction Rules
All Bidders Must Register within 12 hours of participation in their first auction.
Bidders register by private messaging the associated page (FB/IG) letting Silver Cove know they have participated in a live sale auction.
Bidders will be issued a customer number with their first invoice.
Silver Cove operates fixed price auctions in Canadian currency.
Price will be announced live on air and is non-negotiable.
Should a traditional bidding format be offered, it will be clearly enunciated, and the final price is non-negotiable (non-discountable).
Sales or promotions will be announced by hosts on air.
All bids are in CAD
Bidding words are used in place of paddles.
Auction hosts will post the preferred bidding word, however alternative words will be accepted.
Bidding cannot occur until a lot number and price are issued.
Auction host determines winner.
Winner is determined by the first bid to show on the host’s feed in real time.
If an auctioneer misses a bid, the missed party has no right to have the bid reinstated.
Bids cannot be made on behalf of another party
All items are sold “As Is” and Final Sale
Items are shown in high quality video for inspection, and descriptions are provided by hosts to the best of their knowledge and ability.
Rings are sized on air using a professional quality, metal ring sizer. It is the customers responsibility to ensure correct sizing.
Please ensure you are confident in your purchase before bidding as all sales are final.
Silver Cove will extend credit to actively shopping clients** for up to 14 days, to a maximum of $2,000.

Auctions are invoiced separately, and are paid through our website www.silvercove.net
Customers can use the link sent to their messenger or can search the site for their customer number.
Customers may purchase additional items from the site but may NOT purchase other customer auction lots without prior permission.
Auctions can be combined to save on shipping rates by adding multiple auctions to your cart on the website.
PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Interact, and Interact E-Transfer are all accepted for payment
Auction host has final say in all auction matters.
Disagreements, concerns, and other issues will default to the auction host.
Bids may be removed, disqualified or rejected before, during or after the auction, for any reason.
Accounts must be in good standing to participate.
Any buyer who exceeds their 14 days or $2,000 limit must immediately settle their full account before allowing to participate in additional auctions. This includes ALL auctions currently attached to the customer number, including un-invoiced auctions and those still within the 14 day window.
Auctions still outstanding at day 19 will be forfeit and customer will not be allowed to participate for a period of not less than 15 days. This period can range from 15 days to indefinite/permanent.
Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated.
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a profession, respectful fashion.
Abuse of hosts, other participants, etc can result in an immediate ban from the forum, without notice or recourse.

Frequently Asked Questions
What currency do you sell in?
Our live sales are sold in Canadian Dollars. Your payment method will auto-calculate to your preferred currency upon payment, but all items are displayed in Canadian. The average conversion from CAD to USD is $1 CAD = $0.75 USD
Why do we use a bidding word?
We like to keep things upbeat and fun here at Silver Cove, we also want to ensure that your bids are seen and a bidding word helps us do both. They reduce post filtering by Facebook, and allow us to add a bit of character to the feed.
What is a Z-LOT?
A Z-Lot is Silver Cove's unique way of identifying a lot with multiples available for purchase. The host will let you know how many of them are available and will verbally confirm your bid on air.
How do I know the host can see my bid?
Sometimes you can wonder if the host is seeing your bids, or if you are being filtered. The easiest way to do this is to send our 'secret code word' to the host for acknowledgment. Simply put the numbers 00 after the bidding word and the host will acknowledge you by name.
How much is shipping to the USA?
Shipping depends on the weight of the package and your location but overall we have found the rates to be quite affordable.
Here are a few examples from Jan 2021:
1.1kg box - $23 CAD ($16.50USD)
0.5kg box - $16 CAD ($11.50USD)

How do I pay?
An invoice will be sent to you via private message, which links you to our online store.
(Note: If you have not already setup an account, you will be prompted to do so).

Why 14 days to pay?
Most auctions require payment within 24 hours, but here at Silver Cove we like to be super awesome! We love our customers, and we want you to have some flexibility with your pay schedules, so we have given a generous 14 days or $2,000 credit terms limit.
Is my Live Auction order final?
Just like an in-person auction, your bid is your commitment to purchase. All purchases made through our auction format are final sale. (For items damaged in transport please contact our office)
What happens if I am overdue?
Once you have overdue invoices you will no longer be able to bid until all your invoices are paid in full, this includes ALL auctions currently attached to your customer number, including un-invoiced auctions and those still within the 14 day window.
You will receive a notice at the 14-day period as a friendly reminder that you now have overdue items, however customers are expected to monitor their own buying patterns and invoices. After day 19 orders are considered forfeit.

My order arrived damaged, what now?
If your beautiful items arrived damaged, please reach out to one of our staff members immediately through messenger or email and we will be happy to help you. Although we do not have damaged products often, it does sometimes occur. Thank you for your understanding.
What if I Need A Payment Arrangement?
Wanting to buy a larger item? We can help! Our office can set you up with a payment schedule to suit your budget, and ship the item once paid in full.
For Example: You see a beautiful Amethyst Cathedral with a price of $1500. You contact us right away and we setup three payments. 1st payment would be on May 30th of $500, 2nd payment June 15th of $500 , 3rd payment June 30th $500 + shipping and applicable taxes.
