Howlite is a mineral found in evaporite deposits that has a monoclinic structure, and scores a 3.5 on the Mohs scale. Howlite has a very porous texture and quite often is dyed because of this. Its nodules are white with fine web-like veins that are grey or black, which creates a very distinct marble-like pattern when polished.

These tumbled Howlite stones are an opaque white with light to dark grey veins throughout the portions. They give the clean and polished appearance of marble and would be great for wire wrapping, fairy gardens, or pocket stones!

Howlite, metaphysically, is considered a very calming and soothing stone to help ease you into sleep.
