Serpentine is actually a subgroup of the kaolinite-serpentine group. Serpentine can form in varieties of greens, browns and sometimes form with some spotting. The serpentine group of minerals are polymorphous, which means that while they have the same chemical formula, the atoms arrange differently, giving you the variety you see in the Serpentine family. Serpentine has long been used in carving and jewelry. 

These Serpentine beads are a stunning light green color with loads of inclusions and banding. The beads are approximately 10mm and because they lay flat would be lovely to add to bracelets!
