Coppernite is a fickle stone as it can often be misidentified as Astrophyllite or The Sorcerer's Stone (Nuummite). But it is neither, and when looking closely, Coppernite does not contain wisps of color, but rather patches. These patches are the copper. And, unlike a natural forming stone.

These Coppernite wands are captivating to look at. The dark brown and black matrix looks timid, but upon closer inspection one can see the metallic patches that truly give Coppernite it's name.
