This fall, Silver Cove is heading to Canada's capital for the 2026 Ottawa Rock N’ Gem Show, and we're bringing an incredible selection of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones and unique treasures along with us.
From October 29 to November 1, 2026, the Cohere Centre will be transformed for four exciting days of treasure hunting, discovery and everything rocks and gems.
Whether you're an experienced collector, a crystal lover, a jewelry enthusiast, a curious beginner or a family looking for something different to explore together, there's something waiting for you in Ottawa.
Silver Cove Is Packing the Treasures
If you've ever seen Silver Cove at a CanGems show, you know we don't travel light.
We're bringing an enormous and ever-changing selection of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, polished stones, rough specimens, spheres, carvings, beads, jewelry, lapidary supplies, home décor, collector pieces and so much more to Ottawa.
Some pieces are perfect for someone starting their very first collection. Others are impressive specimens for longtime collectors searching for something unusual.
And then there are those pieces you didn't know you needed until you saw them.
That's half the fun of a Rock N’ Gem Show.
Vendors From Across Canada
Silver Cove won't be the only one bringing treasures to Ottawa.
The Ottawa Rock N’ Gem Show will feature vendors from across Canada, bringing together an incredible variety of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, jewelry, beads, carvings, lapidary supplies and handcrafted creations.
Many of the participating vendors are passionate collectors, artisans, miners, lapidary artists and family-run businesses who bring not only their products, but also their knowledge and enthusiasm for the rock and gem world.

Look at something you've never seen before.
You might arrive looking for one particular crystal and leave fascinated by a fossil, a beautiful piece of jewelry or a mineral you didn't even know existed.

One of the things we love most about Rock N’ Gem Shows is that you don't have to be a rockhound to enjoy one.
There's an educational side to these events that makes them especially fun for families and curious minds.
Minerals can introduce us to the incredible processes happening within our planet. Fossils give us a glimpse into life that existed millions of years ago. Gemstones demonstrate extraordinary natural colours, patterns and formations.
For children, seeing these things up close can spark questions about geology, paleontology and the natural world.
For experienced collectors, there's always something else to learn.
And for everyone else?
Come curious. We'll bring the rocks.
Taking Silver Cove Across Canada
Silver Cove calls Alberta home, but throughout the year, our travelling collection hits the road for CanGems shows across the country.
Getting everything from one city to another takes a lot more than simply packing a suitcase.
There are trucks, pallets, boxes, displays and thousands of pieces that need to be packed, transported, unloaded and arranged before the doors ever open.
Then our crew gets to watch an empty venue transform into a marketplace filled with colour, natural beauty and discovery.
It's a lot of work behind the scenes — but when the doors open and everyone starts exploring, it's worth it.
Experience Minerals Under UV Light
There's even more happening Friday night.
On Friday, October 30 from 8:00 PM–10:00 PM, the Ottawa Rock N’ Gem Show will host a special UV Exclusive Event.
During this after-hours experience, visitors can discover the brilliance of minerals that glow under ultraviolet light and see a completely different side of the mineral world.
RSVP is recommended at 587-377-5722, and walk-ins are welcome.
