Turritella Agate is a brown fossiliferous agate that is found in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is incredibly recognizable because it contains large fossilized, fresh-water snails that stand out in a white to tan color that contrasts against the brown agate.
These pieces show a great variety of fossilized snail coloring with pale white and neutral tans. The patterns in this portion are incredible, each piece has it's own character and all together these would be great for using in fish tanks, fairy gardens, crafting, or school projects!
Turritella is believed to be strongly associated with the natural healing energy of the Earth, ancestry, and personal roots. It is also thought to be a survival stone that enhances strength and protection emotionally.
