Howlite is a mineral found in evaporite deposits that has a monoclinic structure, and scores a 3.5 on the Mohs scale. Howlite has a very porous texture and quite often is dyed because of this. Its nodules are white with fine web-like veins that are grey or black, which creates a very distinct marble-like pattern when polished.

These rough Howlite pieces come in a prepackaged box of 24 individual pieces that weighs 2 lbs. These pieces come in excellent condition due to their packaging, and are great for wire-wrapping or tumbling!
